School Programs and Tours
Class Visit Request Form

Please fill in the form below as completely as possible to request a class visit to the New-York Historical Society for any school program and gallery tour. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. You will be contacted by the N-YHS Education Department Staff to schedule a visit pending availability. PLEASE NOTE: Completing this form does not guarantee that the dates requested will be available. School groups without confirmed reservations will not be admitted to the museum.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of 2/1/06, tour availability for Slavery In New York is extremely limited.

ALL TIME SLOTS DURING THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED SCHOOL DAY ARE COMPLETELY BOOKED. We regret that we can can no longer take names for the waiting list for tours during the regularly scheduled school day.

There are a very limited number of tours available during the following times :
           - Tours after 2PM on weekdays or all day on Weekends - If you submit a
            visit request for one of these time slots, we will add you to our waiting list and
            notify you only if we are able to accomodate your group.
           - Tours between 2PM and 8PM on Fridays - we will most likely be able to accomodate
            your group
